Hand-dyed Shantung and Dupioni silk tassels that are each truly one-of-a-kind. Each tassel is designed with color play to accent the stunning artisan colors and qualities of the silk. The neck of each tassel is wrapped with a polyester cord perfectly accenting the silk. The tassel comes with an additional 5” matching cord threaded through the tassel loop so it is ready to be added to your project. Each tassel is trimmed by hand. This silk has been color set to the extent possible with silk. A charm or talisman can be easily added to personalize to the tassel. This listing is for one tassel without a charm.
The tassels do not have finished edges and WILL fray which is part of their artisan charm. An occasional trim of the fray if desired is all that is necessary for care. The fray will subside once the warp and weft of the weave become even over time..
The tassels measure 5.5"-6" long and can be cut to any length. The neck of the tassel is approximately 1/4” wide.
